Welcome to our network blog.
Alongside our listserv (which you can join via our homepage) and twitter profile, this is where we will be posting new content regularly for now.
Our initial aims are to be a resource and a voice for students and those who are starting out as professional heritage researchers and practitioners, up until the 2018 conference in Hangzhou when a new coordinating team will take over. Here on the blog, we will begin by launching two initiatives:
- Send us your session ideas for ACHS2018. These can be in the form of preliminary thoughts or a more formal abstract. We will post your contribution to our blog and help you find collaborators - both within our network and ACHS as a whole. We hope as many from our network as possible will be able to attend the conference and organising a session is one of the best ways to make a conference worthwhile.
- Introduce your research to the network in less than 500 words or 140 characters. Send us a text about what your research is about and why you think it is critical heritage for our "My Critical Heritage" series. If English is not your first language, we would love it if you would consider writing your text in your mother tongue and in English. We also challenge you to communicate your research in a tweet using the hashtag #MyCritHeritage.
If you would like to get in touch, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, find us on twitter or drop us a comment below.
