Our motivations are identical, for we have a common mission: improving the quality of life in historical centers, cities and tourist hubs for the joint benefit of local communities and visitors. We all strive to provide the prerequisites needed for a quality co-existence of historical heritage and contemporary trends, despite the many challenges. There are many aspects that affect cultural heritage and historic centers, and in parallel, tourism, urban planning, strategies, smart development and so on. Here are some of our confirmed topics of interest by top experts and lecturers from around the world: Platform for Architecture, Heritage, Dialogue and Art; Integrating energy management of buildings and distribution grids – the 3Smart Project; Community involvement and tourism within the framework of the Market Gardeners’ District; Retrofitting of Listed Building from the Perspective of a Designer; New Tools for Assessment for Fortifies Towns: a case study: the South East Region and its Sister Cities; Civic Tarraco Project, Citizen Participation in Tarragona ...

This conference will provide examples of good practices and insights into specific activities and measures in response to the contemporary challenges facing local authorities and other relevant agencies. We look forward to seeing you in Dubrovnik, nicknamed the “Pearl of the Adriatic” with good reason. Join us in sharing the future of cultural heritage!
