The Socio-Legal Studies Association (SLSA) will be holding its annual international conference at Newcastle University in the UKbetween 5 - 7 April 2017.
The call for papers for SLSA 2017 is now open. Abstracts of no more than 300 words are invited for all streams and themes.
Abstracts must be submitted via the Easy Chair system (which is difficult to use but rewards persistence). Abstracts can be submitted via: https://www.easychair.org/account/signup.cgi
The deadline for submissions is 6pm on Monday 16 January 2017.
Janet Ulph (University of Leicester) and Sophie Vigneron (University of Kent) co-convene the Art, Culture and Heritage stream and accept papers which link to this theme from any discipline.
Participants do not need to be members of the SLSA but they would need to pay the full non-member conference fee in addition to their other expenses. It is possible to apply for a bursary if you are a postgraduate (or in the case of hardship).
The deadline for bursary applications is 6pm, Monday 16 January 2017.
